We got some money back when we filed our taxes this year and decided to spend it on some things we wanted for the house. We bought a couple of bookcases, one for the baby's room and one for the family room downstairs, and a new couch for our front room. The house is looking so much more like a home these days with a little more furniture. Here are just a couple of pictures of what I've been up to lately.

We also moved the desk and bookcase that were in the "office" (which is now the baby's room) into the dining room area, the chair that was upstairs into the family room in the basement. If you haven't been over in a while it's changed quite a bit, but we're happy with it. My next project is the baby's room and getting it ready for our little one. Right now there is just the dresser and the book case in there, but my parents are buying us a crib and I've been shopping around for some inexpensive wall hangings and shelving. I'll be sure to post pictures once I've gotten a bit more done. :-)
