Making Christmas Cookies

Joanna is in such a fun stage right now. She loves to “help”. So the other day when I was baking Christmas cookies I let her stand on the stepstool and “help” me bake. Luckily her idea of helping is to just stand next to me and play with her own (empty) bowl and spoon. And maybe trying a colander on as a hat. Of course sometimes Mom forgets how quick one year old hands can be and Joanna get’s a hold of something truly magnificent- the beater! (Of course we didn’t let her get more than a taste- not after last summer.)
